Original Bass player was Stuart Zender. The guy actually 1 of founding member of Jamiroquai. In my opinion He's the best out of 3.You can say he's one of the best Acid Jazz Bass player alive. Too bad, due to conflict with Jay Kay on getting not enough credit for his Jamiroquai's work, he left. Current, he with Mark Ronson since 2006.

@aniramy_4 жыл бұрын
why is it impossible not to dance to this song even when the message is concerning? the bass and percussion are just perfect, on point. jamiroquai is the best, no one will ever top it. thank you, you make me feel like i'm in another dimension, preparing my group to save the earth! actually i always get cowboy bepop vibes. i wish life was like that. can anyone relate?

Pal, VI is about the increasingly dystopian advancement of society. It intentionally avoids any modern day pinnacles of technology so the ONLY WAY it becomes outdated is if society is perfect. Yet it's an absolute vibe. So yeah, I relate

I miss the 90's. When even the pop music you could hear on the radio or see on TV had soul and tried have a message worth sharing.
@droptherapy2085 Жыл бұрын
To be fair every generation has said that about the music of the decade they were at their prime in
@caseycurran8803 Жыл бұрын
@Drop Therapy possibly. I don't see so much heart and soul in mainstream music nowadays compared to 60's to mid-90's music. The whole entertainment industry have music and movies down to a science now. Low risk creativity + broad appeal = $ ... you'd almost think the content that's heavily promoted nowadays was made purposely to dumb down and numb the masses.
@caseycurran8803 Жыл бұрын
@Drop Therapy I also wouldn't consider my teen years to be my "prime".
@thomasingram8713 Жыл бұрын
The problem with the 90's is that everyone was so tunnel visioned on having a good time, that messages like the one in this song and this whole album were blatantly ignored and left the powers at be to supercharge every destructive and exploitative practice into the 2000's while society was sedated with that good times attitude.
@caseycurran8803 Жыл бұрын
@Thomas Ingram that's been going on long before the 90's I believe. Only recently have I realized how blatantly pop culture exists to distract or sedate the masses. However, Just as has always been, those looking for meaning and propose in life will always find it regardless of the environment they find themselves in.

The kids need education, And the streets are never clean, I've seen, a certain disposition, prevailing in the wind, Sweet change, if anybody's listening? Emergency on planet earth. Is that life that I am witnessing, Or just another wasted birth. Now, we got emergency Oh, we got emergency on planet Earth Now, we got emergency Oh, we got emergency on planet Earth Think we're standing for injustice, White gets two and black gets five years, Took me quite a while to suss this, But now I know my head is cleared And a little boy in hungry land, is just a picture in the news, Won't see him in that tv advertising, 'cause it might put you off your food Now, we got emergency Oh, we got emergency on planet Earth Now, we got emergency Oh, we got emergency on planet Earth
