The toned downed colors are for me is sad specially for Erza's scarlet hair and her armors which we could add Natsu, Juvia and Wendy's too and more. The person you are wondering is Makarov's father and the guy who has a eye-patch is Prechto. He was Fairy Tail's 2nd master the he became Grimore Hearts master, we saw him in Tenrou Island arc. You would understand more if you watch Fairy Tail Zero, which tell us the story of how Fairy tail was established.

Tartaros arc is heaven in story wise but the plot was way tooo much power of friendship. The friendship bs started in this arc the only lucy left scene.

About Lucy's outfit: "since everything is frozen the ambient temperature must be pretty low" this doesn't apply here because even natsu's fire couldn't melt the ice, my guess is that the temperature didn't change all that much just because everything got frozen.

Fun fact: fairy tail anime is censored so they remove all the bloody/brutal scenes but the manga is more mature/violent/brutal so if you wanna see some violent/brutal moments and bloody fight scenes then check the manga also the manga has a top tier art the anime artstyle is nowhere near on Mashima's artstyle Ps.laxus is more hot on the manga

Lucy’s outfit here is my all time favorite, but yeah, your right, it’s not suited because the place is frozen ice. On the other hand, it is ok because the place might be frozen, but it is not the entire atmosphere. Therefore, they are not really freezing.

@@JamiUwU I mean fairy tail already have a shot gun during Oracion Seis when some guy trying to kill a little kid but they remove it on the anime , just a little trivia Jami fairy tail manga is more mature/violent/brutal the anime was cencored so they remove all of it especially when erigor cut kageyama's ear during lullaby arc ,if you wanna see violent/mature fairy tail you can check the manga and you will notice all of the things that the anime didn't follow also laxus is more hot in the manga because the artstyle is top tier

So yeah, the bath scene is clear evidence that the filler arc was meaningless, Natsu groped Lucy back in the eclipse gate arc, and with a whole arc in-between and only now does Cana bring it up the NaLu moment (which we love to see) like nothing happened. The Filler Episodes were fun and enjoyable, I'm just Glad that arc is behind us now
