There were some roads during Congress the ones with potholes and horrible ones but now there's more roads all well maintained.. Hi, I am from North East India. Thanks to Nitin Gadkari, Union Transport Minister. After 70 years of Independence, We have got world class National High Ways in the North East, only because of Nitin Gadkari's leadership. Yes, progress may be slower comparing to giant nations like US and China. However, earlier, we the people of North East felt it a curse to live in the region during the previous Congress Govt because during those days, the road conditions of National Highways in the region were so bad. We felt shameful to be called Indians.

@Thedaily analyser Every actions good or bad have response from all sides. But. After Modi Govt only, there is no electricity black out in Assam, Manipur etc now. Earlier, we got hardly 5 hrs light a day. Now, 24 hrs light- available except few minutes shut down sometimes. Past 60 years mistakes and its ill effects can not be repaired within 3- 4 years. But, life is far far better now. Best wishes to Modi Govt from Assam.

Project was started by UPA govt... but it was just 14 Km.. The road was expanded from 14Km to 64 Km by Nitin gadkari. This whole road was under construction for god knows how many years before Gadkari took over. execution is important not simply signing it or announcing it just for votes.
