When I was a kid I watched that version of Batman on Mexican TV, dubbed into Spanish. What memories!

Thanks for presenting this great Jan & Dean album, Jamie! I have the 2-for-1 CD as well as a vinyl version released by a label called Bam Caruso in the late 1980s. I think they were based in the UK.

One of the versions say "Criminals like the Joker(?) better go and hide. Note also as a homage to Neil Jan has the Instruments playing the basic "Batman Riff" throughout the song. The "Creature of the night , Omen become a Bat are from the first Batman Comic book decades before.. This song should've charted much better as it is a really great song. However there were so many "Batman" versions it sadly got lost in the shuffle. Somewhere there is a color photo of Jan & Dean in Costume on stage.
