Without doubt the best comeback I have ever seen. I was up late watching this in Ireland and numerous times I was about to switch it off because I thought Fett had it in the bag! Brilliant that Wozniacki went on to win the Title after this epic comeback.

Don't blame Fett, she's young and have a long career ahead of her, she lack of experience, experience that Wozniacki has. Damn, Wozniacki was just pushing the ball in the first set and part of the third. When she was 5-1 she really find her rhythm and start playing agressively and not pushing, that's what all people want to see, if she plays like after that 5-1 she will go deeper, and when she's down, play like in the second, never pushing. She needs to realize she CAN play excellent with her defensive skills but pushing is not the way... Does anyone agree ?

I don't know how much I can emphasize it but I love Wozniacki. One of my favorite players of all time but if she continues to play like this she's not gonna get very far once she start playing with the Top 10 players as the week continues. Let alone winning any Grand Slam titles in the future.

This was one of the worst matches I've ever seen Woz play, she was splaying forehands left and right, playing very passively, double faulting (sometimes twice in a row) and was giving Fett hope time and time again. I'm certain Wozniacki, being 2 match points down, thought many things. "Am I ever gonna win a slam?" "Am I always going to face an opponent who's gonna overpower me off the court?" Especially after her 2nd round loss to Makarova at the US open a few months beforehand But she believed, she didn't shy away, she held strong and kept her cool, It's impossible to comprehend the mental fortitude it takes to not give up when the scoreline seems so insurmountable. Now she is a grand slam champion, her career uplifted, her haters and doubters silenced, her place in the history of the sport guaranteed and I'm so happy for her! Now the question is; can she win more? All I'll say is just keep believing.

I am Danish and we are sooo tired of her yo-yo game. People dont dare put their money on her cuz one day she will beat a top 3 player and the next she will lose to a quailfier. She knows she can play aggresive and control the match but she tends to fall back to being a runner and a wall just cus she likes it... Yeah but you have to adapt to your oponent girl and that is why you wont win a GS

yes sure i can. What level you are referring to? After the matchpoints in the third she played great tennis. So you can`t say the level throughout this whole match was bad, and she had downs as here in the first and beginning of 3rd set later on in the tournament as well. That happens. But the level itself isn`t dropping or increasing within one tournament.
