@@tqsuited The main thing that people know about her is that she has wildly fluctuating form, either plays lights-out brilliant or complete trash from one tournament/match to another. She’s possibly the most inconsistent top level player in the game! She’d easily be contesting majors all the time if she played the way she’s capable of playing all the time. As it is, she’s made a single slam semi final and two quarters in the nearly 7 years since winning the French Open. I can’t help but thinking her patchy form and her appalling temperament are related.

Well, some of the handshakes didn't seem that bad. Although the younger players now like Alcaraz and Sinner give a hug and have a little chat at the net, and their reaction is the same whether they win or lose, so I guess we've got used to seeing that. I saw a video recently where Alcaraz lost to Sinner, and in his interview at the end, he said some really nice things about him and wished him luck for the year. Funny how no matter the drama the atp players would always do the handshake, and maybe sort things out at the net, but the wta players dont even bother to shake hands

Tsitsi's game has really gone to the gutter, losing in first and second rounds. Medy still makes it to the second week at least

Sportsmanship has to be above anything else. Shake hands with your rival, congratulate him when he/she wins and always respect him/her. I am ashamed of these images. And I am ashamed of many ATP and WTA tennis players (you know their names). However, since they provide spectacle, are badboys, etc. they have never been properly punished.

Is a post.atch handshake actually mandated? I know the sport is rooted in sportsmanship & courtesy, but I'm wondering if not doing so is an actual violation.

Funny. I have seen several videos on Medvedev saying "shut the fuck up", depicting him as a "bad guy" and not showing the reason behind it... Now I see he was totally right, and he just defended himself. He should throw the racket at him...
