Good advice about how to deal with "high school athletes". I think there are times when people over work kids to the point they either get hurt, or lose the passion for sports, because people try to push "high school"(14 to 18 year olds) players like their full grown adults. Remember people that these kids are still coming into their bodies. Don't try to rush the process by demanding too much from these kids.
