This year we use Andrew's Allis Chalmers 33 Corn Picker on his 1940 WC and Nohlen gets to show off and use their new Allis Chalmers Model 35 Corn Picker with his WD Tractor. The picked corn will be used at the 2025 Heatwole Threshing Show in Hutchinson MN. #allischalmers #cornharvest

It's nice watching two different Allis Chalmers tractors and equipment harvesting corn at the same time in 2024. T 5:10 Top credits for the operators who keep this history alive. If the satellites supplying GPS fail during harvest season. We can still pick the corn.

Great video! We had a 33 on a WD45 back in the mid 60s when I was a kid. I seem to remember that putting it on and taking it off was quite a job.

Were the rows too narrow for the 2 row mounted picker to do 2 rows at a time?

Yep, the two row picker doesn't do well on 30 inch rows.

The two row picker needs 48” rows or 36”? It looks wide .

It can handle rows from 38 to 44 inches
