Yes, Marylin the fragile golden godess but Michael? Very interesting what she said about him. What really caught my attention is that he was unable to project his own death. This explains a lot and also why he loved beeing surrounded by children and very young people. It had nothing to do with sexual cravings but with his desire to halt time....."screwed up" Jane Fonda said and she is so right. His life must have been hell and the abuse he suffered in his youth made it posible. I always wondered why he was so stange......

Marilyn was alternately vulnerable with an inferiority complex, then strong, even megalomanic in not fearing to ruffle powers that were. Just before her death she had negotiated a big new contract with her movie studio, but unfortunately also was arguing with the US president and his brother about why one or the other should marry her, or she'd expose them.

Piers Morgan having a child? Oh no, I feel for the child. Anyway, to something more important...the human condition. Jane said she couldn't imagine someone with the issues and damage ever getting above it all [my paraphrase]. I will probably get flamed for saying this but I have known people (not as famous) who were more messed up, with more problems rising above them and living a great life. One of them was a former member of the Hells Angels. At one time he was the Sergeant at Arms for a large chapter in CA and he knew Sonny Barger. His biker name was "Animal" and there is a book about his life. His real name was Gene. What happened in his life that turned him around? He asked Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. (Here come the flamers and scoffers) Yes, his life and very character was changed. Not because he decided he better clean up his act so God would accept him. It was God who changed my friend, Gene. He was a huge man, his very stature was intimidating and I'm glad I never crossed his path while still riding with the H.A. Jesus Christ changes lives! I was an atheist for 23 years, my marriage of 11 years was on the rocks (mostly my own fault), I was a selfish and I had a violent temper until I finally surrendered MY life to Jesus Christ. He changed my selfishness, replaced my bad temper with patience and in an amazing miracle he restored my marriage after my wife also gave her life to Christ the same day I did. That was 28 years ago that we both became Christians. Please consider giving your own life to Jesus Christ, today. It's okay if you flame, I have a thick skin and I understand some people won't like hearing this. Please let me know if you would like the title of the book about Gene's life.

Another prime example of what some cardinals have described.."We don't have to worry about our jobs, because people are inherently chronically religious". "Yes..they might have their wilderness years, but eventually most come back to their respective flocks...with their pension moneys". The mother of all scams is impervious of being sidelined because it promises...wait for it...eternal life...the main reason people flock to these charlatans, because death for most of us understandably stays difficult to comprehend; and yeah..you can set the clock to it ;approaching midlife and deterioriation of the physique lots of people opportunistically begin to reason "no harm in trying" .Anyway ,most use these churches as social centres to gain friendships or partners ; and if besides that they offer "eternal life"..well,that's all the better for it.. "Bikers Pro Bible"..."Hell's Angels For Christ"...whatever next,"Stockbrokers For Jesus" ?

Love Jane, warts and all... a great strong phenomenal, fascinating woman who has gone through many different incarnations in her life time, but when asked what is the most important or miraculous moment of your life, she could have added giving birth to my two children and being a grandmother as well as winning all those awards! Personally, I think too many celebrities get too many awards, which with some can turn them into more malignant narcissists! It's always nice to get a couple of awards but when you have a room full of them it's a bit much! I think the millions of dollars they earn, rightfully so, should suffice as enough reward!! imho

.Fonda misses the point completely on Jackson, he wouldn't have been the first to gain some peace of mind and confidence with the passing of the years. She's almost saying he was lucky in some ways that he hadn't had to go through the ageing process, because he was so mixed up about his physique. Yet we hear often from people how content they are approaching or passing middle age even though that too presents its obvious challenges.
