I just finished watching the mentalist and i in this hangover period where i kinda feel a bit lost and cant stop watching jisbon videos. It always baffles me that some fans needed season 6 as conclusive evidence that Jane was in love with Lisbon. It was clear, to me, from the very beginning that Jane's feelings for Lisbon were far more intense than he liked to admit and that he fell in love with Teresa before she fell in love with him. That scene where he told Teresa that Bosco loves her, he followed up with, "[...] how could he not?" That was Jane sharing with her that he felt the same and couldn't help it. How could he not be in love with her? She's a phenomenal person-- fully worthy of the love of strong men. Jane just hadn't arrived at the point where he could admit to such a thing, as he was still reeling from the trauma of the murders of his wife and daughter.

You captured their relationship in a beautiful lovely way. They are one of my favorite TV couples and your video does them justice. They have some great moments throughout the show but one that really sticks out to me is when Jane grabs Lisbon’s hand after being beat up by Lorelei and gang. That hand hold was proof that she is his rock, he trusts her and highly regards her. And you don’t hold hands with someone who is just your colleague. He has been in love with her for a long time.

So you know why your videos are better then most Jisbon videos? It's flow, it's rhythm, you tell a story in a way that makes sense and most importantly (this is where everyone loses me in the other videos) the only time you see talking is when, we, the audience, is hearing them talk. I hate videos where you can't hear them talking but all you see in lips moving. When we hear the music, and only the music, you show us stuff that is happening, not conversations. You show us glances, kisses, hand holding, movement and looks. This creates the emotional tone of your videos and why it hits home. Also, your music didn't overpower the dialog. This is skill you seemed to either be taught or you are intelligent to pick up what works and what doesn't in music videos.

I just finished wathing the serie and felt a strange sensation after the last episode. I was sad and thinking about it because it seems to have a "happy ending". But for me there was something wrong. After a couple of days I finally realize that what I was feeling was a deep sadness based on what I saw during the entire show. Lisbon seemed deepy in love with Jane trought out the seasons developed. Also Jane, but contained. His character has an excuse to avoid showing sentimentalism. They shared deep long lasting looking each other, and acting like a couple many times even they were not even "together" in the show. Lisbon's reactions during most of the show, the way she looked at Jane, specially after season 5, made me think that her feelings for him was real, not pretending. I felt several times her struggle as If she was really felling that. So my sadness was for her, for Robin, she was the best actress I've ever seen or she was deeply in love with Simon. I'm not used to go shipping people around but I couln't handle it with them. Simon was married with kids, so any move on a potential relationship was extremely complicated. Same for Robin. But that's how I see their relation. Them being "friends" after season 7 show that they grow something between then and couldn't put an end. It's like their relation till Lisbon pushed him to declare himself. I hope my feelings were just because they were the greatest actors to perform their story. Jane and Libson deserved to be together. for sure. They are in love. Maybe Simon and Robin too.
