That was very well said. My feelings exactly. Something seemed to happen to him right about the time we went all-in in Iraq where he actually seemed to think it was a great idea, and I don't know, it just went completely downhill from there. Every once in awhile he betrays a bit of the old, humor-filled and thoughtful version of himself, but he quickly course-corrects and goes back to right-wing douchebagginess just before it's possible to start liking him again.

I'm not a scientist, but I think Janeane is closely related to dinosaurs and might be the first of an undiscovered species, the dawn of a new era. I think that in the next five years, our species will be replaced by her offspring, also, I think she can reproduce asexually. I also think she can thwart off attacks by alien threats.

I am very late to the party (by 52 weeks), but your observation is 100% brilliant and spot-on. I always thought there was something reptilian about Janeane Garofalo (and, failing that, dinosaur-like).
