Never thought I’d want a minivan, but we got a Kia Carnival once we had 3 kids, and I LOVE it. The sliding doors are the best because you don’t have to worry about little ones hitting any vehicles parked next to you.

I wasn't a minivan person either...but then we had #3 and OH MY WORD. GAME CHANGER. The sliding doors alone are brilliant when you're in a tight parking spot and the kids can hop right in without having to swing a door open. And they're shorter so you can fit into any parking garage. But you sit up high enough to not feel low like a sedan. And yes, it's hard but be kind to yourself and your body. It takes time. But your body did something amazing by growing people!

Total agree car drop off is a dream. We fit 5 car seats in ours it is fantastic! Minivans rule. We have a 22 year old one. My son used it for his car and could take his band equipment when they played gigs and practice.

I did not want to have a minivan ever. But I did have one for about 3-4 years. I hate to admit it but it was an awesome car to have when I had it . But I was also very glad when I changed to an SUV. I get why mini vans are so loved by many moms.

I loved my 1997 Suburban! I drove it for 14 years with 4 kids in tow....absolutely a beast 😂 I downsized to an Equinox 4 years ago when my baby was a junior. I still miss by Suburban 😢

❤ We had a ford expedition with our first two babies…. then got a minivan with our second two babies for our family of 6. It was awesome, the space, sliding doors, ease of use. My youngest is now 15 and even though we don’t need a minivan anymore I was so tempted to replace ours just for the space and convenience.

Mom of 4 boys. Just bought a yukon denali titanium colours gmc! Amazing car for a big family but don't buy the 8 seater it is not worth the headache of moving the seats around. We ended up trading our suburban in to buy the 7 seater yukon because it was so inconvenient!

You can make it work if you have to. I had 3 car seats in my little Corolla S my oldest was 5 at the time we got a minivan the weekend before we had our fourth baby. Loved the mini van!

Get a Chevy Traverse 2018 or newer. They come in 7 or 8 seat configurations. I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine for my 3 almost 4 kids. It's so roomy and has great trunk space but isn't huge like a suburban.

I hate to sway you to get a suburban. But, they’re so functional when you have more than two kiddos. I have Yukon XL, the same as a suburban, but it’s by GMC. You can throw everything in the open space in the back with stroller, backpack, sports bags, groceries all at the same time. It’s so time saving when you just have to pull the stroller and go, or whatever bag you need, and take off. That vehicle is so functional.

Before you commit to the Suburban, look at the Ford Expedition Max! My mom had a Suburban and I thought that was what I wanted for my mom car, but the Expedition is more functional and comfortable in my opinion. And we have 5 kids ranging from 16.5-4 years old. Also, LOVING the vlogs!

Suburbans are cool and all, but Toyota Siennas are actually magical. Once you have sliding doors for kids, you don't want to go back. I also relented against a van, but I love mine. It actually looks more sleek than most. And it's a hybrid!
