I have a lot of siblings, and one thing my mom did is, she put the baby bassinets in the noisiest part of the house so that the babies would be more exposed to noises and wouldn't wake up as easily in the night. This helped my very busy mom get things done around the house without worrying about waking the baby.

This video made me cry. I have 3 daughters and had such extreme PPD with each of them that their babyhoods were a miserable slog--PPD is such a thief of joy. To see you as overwhelmed as you claim to be, still taking so much joy in each of your children and pushing yourself to still care for YOU as well, is so inspiring and touching to me (and my youngest is 11! It's been awhile since I've been in your place!). My three girls adore your videos and we love talking about you and how creative and funny you are. You are such a source of positivity and hilarious Utah humor--I'm happy my girls have an influencer like you to look up to. ❤ One piece of advice I'd give *unasked* is that three kids is amazing BECAUSE you literally can't be everything to everyone. You can't give the same attention you gave to your 1st or the same attention you TRIED to give to your second, and I found by 3 kids that I became more gentle and forgiving toward myself and began loving motherhood more. My 3rd daughter was also a very patient baby. Good luck to you--you're an amazing wife and mom!

You're only a sad beige mom/dad if you don't allow ANY color in your child's clothes, toys, or decor. Neutral design in main parts of the house is totally normal. Change nappy before feeds Cosleeping helps , keep baby top half of body raised in a low flat pillow Don't wake a sleeping reflux baby (their sleep patterns will vary and will be interrupted due to reflux so hen they do sleep and it's going long just let them be!!) Gentle burping only, light tapping and rubbing on back Reflux babies usually end up being great freders and later- eaters!!! Goodluck!!!

Jane, when you get used to having 3 kids, I totally recommend getting a dog! Well, that is as long as you don't mind any messes, shedding, or barking. I've heard kids with dogs are said to be happier, be more responsible, and be more immune to sicknesses/germs. You also give me some "dog mom" vibes in general. 😂 If you do end up getting a dog, you should get one that's medium sized or large. Smaller dogs are more fragile and less good with kids. I had younger cousins with a chihuahua, and they treated the poor thing like it was a toy. Luckily, he still ended being a really sweet dog.
