New Envelope Filter From Earthquaker Devices!

Yes it's an envelope filter, but it's so much more. I love the option to sweep between low and high pass filters, the "auto wah" does exactly what the funk demands, and with the addition of presets on this latest "V3" edition of Spatial Delivery, you can have it set up to do all these things in one pedal.
The most musical aspect of the pedal for me thought, has to be the sample and hold. As you'll hear in the video, it gets me straight to making music and discovering new things which is the most important aspect of any piece of gear I play.

Nice! I did the bass portion for the earthquaker demo video, and am doing a set with it for the pedal release party next week... I love how no matter who plays it and even with similar settings, the sound of the musician isn't lost in the box... If you haven't found this sound yet, I think you'll really dig it- turn the range all the way down, go to around 3 o'clock on the Low pass, and adjust the resonance to taste for a super deep, pa exploding, low pass synth☕☕

I had a ton of fun with an earlier version of the Spatial Delivery. Nice that they've added presets! Just FYI, the Helix also has step & hold... check out the Asheville Pattern model based on the Moog MF-105M. 👍

Sounds awesome! Would like to hear more on your thought process of how to drive the pedals with how you eq your bass and how you change the bass eq with different pedals. Do you often roll off the treble side of your bass when using a lot of modulation? Is there a bass eq change you make playing live vs. studio when using a lot of effects?

It's always really specific to the pedal in terms of how I EQ. Every builder makes them slightly differently, and every bass/string combination hits them slightly differently. I couldn't give you a blanket answer and expect it to hold true for both passive and active basses, or round and flat wound strings for instance. Whether it's the EQ or the ton knob I'm using to produce the change in sound, I'm basically using them in the same way an organ player uses drawbars. Check out the range of sounds a Hammond B3 can make by manipulating those bars... that's the headspace I'm in when it comes to EQ on the bass effecting pedals.
