Two wrongs don't make a right. Yes, Laurel had stuff in her past. But Janet did things much, much worse. At least Laurel killed in self-defense. Janet bashed a guy's head in with a crow bar and tried to kill Natalie and Laurel (more than once!).

It funny how they ahe children on saops. You see here that Jake is in his mid 20s.. and Amanda is 11/12. When Jake left it seemed like never aged. In a few years Amanda basically aged quickly. Four 5 years shes 21 and knock out. Her and Jake get married. Both in there 20s when they got married. And have children

The AMC writers made Janet into a cartoon after Robin Mattson exited the role. Her Janet was remorseful and rose above the odds stacked against her to finally redeem Janet and get forgiveness from everyone- even Dixie. She was also a wonderful mother to Amanda. Super disappointed with how the writers just trashed all that.

Robin's Janet could be cartoony too. Remember the miracle plastic surgery plot? She got her sentenced commuted just because she had some plastic surgery? And the authorities never warned Trevor or Dixie? Remember the plot where she tried to blow up a building in her little Orphan Annie wig disguise? Or her using a Will Cortlandt double to gas light Dixie?

True. He has finally stopped seeing the Janet Monster and now he's seeing her as a human being. He's also really grateful to Janet for helping Amanda stay warm in the well. This is clearly a turning point for the two of them.

koolkel4 she didn’t know who the sister was because they didn’t tell her. U don’t tell a little girl things like that. Miranda and Spike didn’t know all the horrible stuff Bianca and Kendall did. U wait till they’re old enough to understand to tell them something like that. They didn’t want to tell her Natalie was the sister or that Janet was her actual mother. She doesn’t know Janet is her mother at this point. That was part of the storyline. Everyone keeping that secret from Amanda. Eventually she found out.
