Its crazy that Janet uses her left hand to gesture and keep time when she performs. You would almost think shes a leftie but she is actually right handed.

Amazing!! Loved seeing Paula present the award to Janet. It's like coming full circle! Janet is so humble and genuine. I'm not the best dance but I love to dance. And I felt Janet when she expressed how much she loves dance! Simply beautiful!

Omg the audience is so disrespectful. The constant making noise and talking during the speech. Then not letting Janet speak for forever either.

They are dancers. They are meant to be loud, extroverted, passionate and rebellious!

@@firouz4296 When it's appropriate. This was not appropriate. Dancing, by the way, is pretty quiet (for the most part) without music. As a dancer who has been in crews and groups, this was disrespectful. From one dancer to Janet we would want to hear what she had to say.

Janet deserves all the praise and love for having such a profound and prolific career of over forty years. Many stars including some legends can't attest to that achievement. It's a shame that you're so wrapped up in your own self-pity and insecurities that you feel the need to make derogatory comments about Janet's outfit and the audience who are in the presence of one of the biggest legends on Earth. Janet is at a point in her career where she could retire tomorrow and still be one of the biggest female entertainers to have graced the world behind Tina Turner and many other pioneers like her. But yet you're relegating hate to a comments section on KZbin. Grow up and put some respect on her name and let the audience praise her. No sense in bashing her because of how you feel about yourself.

I think her outfit was great and loved her hair. She kind of looked like Tina Turner with that hair style. Oh and she can wear whatever she wants.

Paula did NOT teach Janet to dance
@GEMINICHAI

?? No one said she TAUGHT her how to dance.... but she DID train her well enough to become more comfortable with herself as a dancer, and gave her a dance style she could relate to and pull off amazingly. Janet herself said all of this, so it's pretty common knowledge. That doesn't take away from the fact that Janet was always a pretty good/natural dancer. Paula just helped her become even better.
