Father God, through His Son Jesus Christ, says to "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Mark 12 : 31) We sometimes assume the word neighbor means someone who lives nearby or at least is someone we know. But in Luke 10, Jesus told the parable of the good Samaritan to teach that our love for our neighbors shouldn’t have barriers. The man from Samaria freely gave to a wounded stranger, even though the man was a Jew, part of a group of people at odds with the Samaritans (vv. 25-37). We are told to love our neighbors and it was Jesus who said, “There is no commandment greater” (Mark 12 : 31) than to love God and our neighbor. Begin your journey of pure unconditional love by first acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of our Savior. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord of your life. Welcome Abba Yahweh (Father God) through Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) into your life. Receive grace by believing in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection for the sins of all mankind. You will then be justified in salvation and blessed with His abundant love by the Holy Spirit! Dear friends please pray the following prayer with me....Heavenly Father, help me to look beyond borders and barriers, to see everyone as my neighbor, and to love in generous ways as You have taught me.
