For people who think that MIchael faked his voice, Janet's voice sounds EXACTLY like MIchael's voice. The Jacksons have the most soothing, gentle, classy voices. I love them so much. One of the greatest.most fascinating American families of all time.

I disagree, seeing how she’s been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall. And at 57 years young, her “Together Again tour has been selling out. So much so that she’s added more dates through the Summer of 2024. Furthermore, she hasn’t released an album since 2015 and she’s currently on the BB charts. She’s also streaming, which is awesome, considering she’s not from the era of streaming music, rather going to a retailer and physically buying her records. There should be some sort of rules in place when it comes to those artist that charted before streaming music counted towards chart positions. Because of this new age of listening to music, we have artists releasing an album and all of the songs on the album chart because people are streaming the album. I don’t want to take the success of artist, like Drake for example; however, it should be duly noted that the artists who sold millions of physical albums & singles, should be in a separate category.

My brother passed in 96 and then 14 years later i lost my father and a month later my favorite singer of all time Michael Jackson passed away & it was like losing another family member a month apart. When something like that happens it's difficult and a hard pill to swallow. he also borrowed various choreo and musical elements from her, my hot take is that janet was always bolder and more experimental career wise, the most of the family imo, she did things and covered more genres with the same strict work ethic and creativity that he had, that only both of them had, many ppl and artists who worked with them said MJ and her were the most workaholic, serious artists both on studio and performing ever. Joe knew this, knew how big she would become, that janet was one of the most fast learning, talented and disciplined of them
@KaykayWilliAm10 ай бұрын
Just because he used to dance to her songs doesn’t mean anything. She’s his sister so ofc he’s gonna support her it doesn’t mean anything you’re making it out to be. Janet took and borrow some things from him too. Bad doesn’t sound anything like Control…Liberian girl, dirty Diana ( which Janet modeled her black cat song after), man in the mirror, bad etc nothing sound like anything on control. You Janet fans really take it too far trying to discredit a lot of what MJ has done to uplift her and the thing is you don’t have to down him to uplift her. The reason why music videos have storylines is because of MJ who JANET modeled the storyline concept after….and let’s not act like alright wasn’t the same musical influenced concept that MJ has done before. captain EO was how Janet got the idea that she wanted to do a military inspired project and MJ also wanted that idea, MJ was kind enough to give it to her first and that was it but a lot of ppl make it seem like he copied her when he was also thinking about doing it as well he was just nice enough to let her use the concept first. He danced to her songs because he was a supportive brother that was it. Nothing about bad and dangerous was influenced by control or RN given the fact that Bad and dangerous were more versatilie and had more genres than rn and control which are majority NJS centered.

I believe Michael and his sister Janet were very close. She is the only sibling who really looks like Michael, and she is also the only one who can dance and sing simultaneously with him. Like Michael, she typically writes her own lyrics and melodies for her songs. The most expensive video is "Scream," which features both Michael and Janet Jackson. In my opinion, Janet was genuinely sad for a long time after losing her brother.

Jackie, Rebbie and Marlon were also good dancers. I think MJ looks like Jackie more than anyone else.
@tias.667510 ай бұрын
Rebbie looked the most like Michael pre-surgery. Latoya and Janet looked the most like him after. Janet doesn't write anything.
@tias.667510 ай бұрын
Yes, and Jackie does favor him the most, especially in natural form.

Before his first nose job, Michael and Jackie looked very similar. If you want to imagine what Michael would look like without surgery or vitiligo, look at Jackie.

Such a beautiful woman inside and out. I totally understand how she feels in losing a sibling. I loved Micheal Jackson from the first time I saw him on tv as a young girl in the 70’s. He had a huge heart and an innocence about him that I always felt from his childhood up until his death. My heart goes out to his entire family.

Love me some Janet, always will I’ve seen her live back in June last year and will be seeing her again. This coming summer for now a third time, I’m thrilled to be able to treat myself to this and much gratitude more importantly. She’s absolutely legendary and indeed iconic, the media has often compared her to Michael Jackson not them themselves. Even the questions they (The Interviewers) asked were inappropriate, blatantly disrespectful, and very cringey. 😑Rest in peace, continuously to him her devastation from his loss was heart wrenching.💔 I know that feeling personally as I’m mourning my beloved adopted mom, Janet’s music along with others I listen to as an aide to get through the heavy grief days & nights at times has brought some healing if not little moments of peace. In the midst of the sorrows, retrospective deep reflections as well. 😔🙏🏾💔I loved her documentary on lifetime/A&E/Hulu as well, I got to see Madonna back in December for the first time, my very first concert experience was the incredible Sir Elton John, now Ms. Jackson once again for a third time, all iconic and legendary artists, so far different than the music of today, or what’s considered talent. Amazing documentary thank you for sharing, & uploading.💖💜💖

I'm exhausted for her so I can just imagine how she felt. The sad reality of stardom, but she's handled the media vultures with such grace. I absolutely adore her. Much love to you Janet, even with this current madness, I still stand with you!

To me I can never chose who my favorite artist is between Michael and Janet since its like asking who your favorite child is. Both of them are phenomenal artist so pitting them against each other was silly

I'm a huge Janet fan. To me her music was WAY better thanks to Jam and Lewis. Yes, Michael's was good but, Jimmy and Terry put that funk and edge into Janet's music. Don't get me wrong, I think his Dangerous album is classic. That being thanks to Teddy Riley. Although Quincy was behind Michael's biggest hits, I was never a hardcore fan of his productions. That being said, I truly believe they both hold their own in the music industry as icons. 👍

Are you saying Mike never wrote any of his music

Janet fans always confirm they can only claim that she's better than Michael while not streaming and supporting her forgotten music. Good that at least on the internet you get some likes, but the reallity always shows who has better music and whose music aged better.
@tias.667510 ай бұрын
So much better that it is basically stuck in the times it was released ? Meanwhile, Michael's music is still breaking records despite an obvious blackball.
@tias.667510 ай бұрын
And unlike Janet, Michael actually had major input in a lot of his music. He wasn't the one benefitting from nepotism after all.

Amazing finding out from her own words, that only she and their mother knew about his vitiligo. It explains a little, about Jermaine's frame of mind when he wrote that song about Michael, being mad at him. And I believe Michael forgave him. I can empathize with MJ about keeping it secret, but it resulted in so much scrutiny and fabrications of the truth about his looks. Poor guy. In my mind, he never wanted to be felt sorry for, but people are NOT KIND!! Especially the media!!

How lovely to have brothers like that. My brother done nothing but ignore me and it was like he was embarrassed. He is 4 years older than me and I've felt like I have never had a brother. I feel like an only child. Just lately I thought I wished I'd had a sister. Or at least a brother who is even the slightest bit interested in me.

Michael is an all time super star and I could see him with kids it was very innocent and very good with his own kids as well as the ones he had around him. I understood Michael and his music. He's a very good father and son and brother for all. Michael and I are the same age so I grew up listening to the Jackson 5 and Michael's music when he went solo on his own.

In all of these interviews over the years, she is so well spoken. She is smart. .She is sassy. She is so talented. I am sure she left so many of these interviews absolutely frustrated because everyone wants to know about Michael and I am sure she just wanted to talk about her work. I recently listened to a BBC interview and she said she doesn't like being asked questions. I can see as a whole why.

Janet is such an eloquent, mature and sweet soul. God also blessed her with humility not just talent. It's a shame she had to go down the path of being sexual for attention which caused her great shame in superbowl.
