Janet is always so professional. She stood for that whole interview because No one had enough respect for her to bring her a chair. I didn't like that at all, they said nice things but were clearly disrespectful by not offering her a seat. Neither of the 2 men stepped up, they don't represent all men but they poorly represented themselves.

After all, the entire panel of hosts did give Janet a standing ovation. What more do you want? Are you as outraged that Hoda had to stand up for part of the interview as well?

I saw JJ, back in 2009, at the Fox Theater in Detroit. She was there, just a few days after Michael passed. The show was SOLD OUT, and I had to buy my tickets from a scalper on Woodward Ave, but I got in to see her!!

I understand why everybody's getting mad that she doesn't have a chair. But maybe she declined a chair before she came on to the show. Maybe they asked her backstage and she said she would prefer to stand. We don't know why she wasn't sitting. But I'm sure there's a reason whether she just didn't want to sit or there was no extra chairs or whatever the reason..... People are so quick to judge. And this is less than a 10-minute video. It's not like we can gather all the information from her whole time being on the show or even back stage. I'm just saying try not to be so quick to get mad when we don't know

She purposely remained standing during this, and other talk show appearances because she didn’t want it to become a formal interview, where they start asking personal questions about her life, that she doesn’t care to discuss. It gives off the vibe that she’s in a hurry, and only there to promote the upcoming tour so let’s keep it short and sweet! Smart.
