Right! The Queen of R&B Soul is Aretha Franklin, The Queen of R&B is Mary J. Blige, The Queen of Pop is Madonna. The Princess of Pop is Brittany Spears, The Queen of R&B/Pop is Beyonce and The Princess of R&B/Pop is Rihanna.

I like how she wasn't sure the 7-week number 1 "That's the Way Love Goes" was an actual #1. Humble queen.

I wasn’t so familiar w Alison, but I must commend you on conducting such a fun interview. As a Janet fan, I hate that so many other interviews tend to be so stale, with her being asked questions that most fans already know. I can tell Janet enjoyed communicating with you and playing the game, it was very atypical and clearly got her to open up more! Keep up the great work!

We. Me and my siblings affectionately call her "Baby Sis". We grew up with HER BROTHERS, SOUL TRAIN, AMERICAN BANDSTAND, ED SULLIVAN, ETC. She looks to be doing well, fairly content. We grew up on oldies. Sam Cooke, The Delphonics, The Impressions, The Stylistics, Brenda and the Tabulations, etc. Then THE JACKSONS HAPPENED. In our house....SINGING, DANCING, STEPPING AND OF COURSE GOOD FOOD, A CLEAN HOME AND CARTOONS WHEN WE WEREN'T OUTSIDE RIPPING AND RUNNING WAS THE NORM. Oddly enough though...I was NEVER OR EVER CONSIDERED MYSELF A FAN. In the 60s and 70s other "colored people" or "negros" in and outside of our neighborhood was considered FAMILY. I BELIEVE THAT'S HOW WE "CIRCLED THE WAGONS" without having the pleasure or displeasure of actually "being there"...wherever the hardships and cruelty was going on at. We would find out by word of mouth, phone calls or specific visits.Their MUSIC WAS ESSENTIAL FOR US. ALOT OF IT WAS AND STILL IS. THEY WEREN'T "STARS", THEY WERE MORE LIKE EXTENDED FAMILY ON TELEVISION. BROOK BENTON IS IN CLOSE FAMILY PROXIMITY TO MY GRANDFATHER AND HIS SIBLINGS. NOW. WHY IS THAT BELIEVABLE. WELL. GET A PHOTO OF BROOK BENTON AND A PHOTO OF MY FATHER FROM THE 60s. Saying the word RESEMBLANCE AND BACK STORY just doesn't do it any justice. ASK MY DAUGHTERS AND MY GRANDCHILDREN. BECAUSE IT ALL STARTED WITH MY SIBLINGS. BESIDES. I ENJOY KEEPING THEM INVOLVED IN THIS CONVERSATION. OUR HISTORY IN THE COUNTRY IS NOT ONLY "ESSENTIAL LEARNING" AND "FULL FAMILY HISTORY".....ITS SIMPLY AMAZING!😳😎😘😁❤️🥰

Whatever cream, supplement or water Janet is taking she should write a book about it or bottle it up because I need it... lol! She's inn her latter 50s and still looking 30 years younger....WOW!😳🤩
Your saying that she is the "Queen" of that style she knows that is not her place in life it's not the dance that is a +but the voice is undeniable who came through the ease the pain voice.ETC that's just my comment though .

I mean looking back at Janet Jackson's career I mean now she has to reset her priorities I mean look back then she was single and she was ready to mingle but now when you have a baby it changes a whole life and I think we look at it that people who exploited her May her feel less than a real woman but my feeling about how Justin Timberlake got away with a lot of the blame that Janet should have never taken in the first place 😖
