I can’t wait! I remember hearing WHYDFML in a club when I was 22 in 1986, and I ran out the next day and bought the album on cassette tape. I wore that tape out and eventually got it on CD, and I’ve owned about four copies over the last 30 years including the new colored LP vinyl . It’s simply a masterpiece.

I miss the old days. The excitement of going to the record store and buying a physical copy of an album or a single (that usually contained loads of remixes as well). I would go from store to store in search of a specific remix. I still remember buying Control, and how I almost couldn't wait to get home so I could listen to it. I still listen to it and love it. Incredible that it has already been 35 years! My how time flies! I remember when I was little my mother was watching a show where the Jackson brothers and Janet came on she was quite young and very little, and she did her imitation of Mae West! Then her and her brother Randy did a small music routine Janet danced around too it was too cute, and then the next thing I knew I would see her act too as Penny in the television show Good Times! What can I say about this woman. Janet Jackson Music was and is the soundtrack of my life. Control.... I was turning 16 in 1986 thinking I knew everything about my life. I knew I was going to college in a couple of years to be on my own without their guidance . This song brings back plenty of memories. I wanted to look like her and dress like her I even had a key earring. I performed this song at my High School talent show with a live band. Let me tell you it was awesome!
