The most comfy place to build Lego stuffs. I did not see the brick separator being custom until you mentioned it. You're attention to detail is just great, Jang.
@dd_zzero68275 жыл бұрын
You are way too tough on yourself Jang. I think everything looks really good. The separator is the only thing that to me is the least best. The plant, cup, candle, pencil and Exacto knife are really realistic.

That looks like a pretty nice little area to build in peace, looks very zen! I can almost see myself meditating in a décor like that, very nice, Jang! And it is a really good idea to put the Treehouse there as well!

You should get a “Rose of Jericho”, if you want a low-maintenance plant. It can go years without water and when watered, “regains it’s life”.

I have a question for Jang, do you go through the building process slowly to take note of the building techniques? Because whenever I put a set together I burn through the pages of the manual. Even large sets that you’ve said take hours to put together, I’ve put the same or similar ones together in way less time. Not sure if it’s bragging but I feel like even the most complex and large sets aren’t that hard to build
@JANGBRiCKS5 жыл бұрын
I do not approach set builds as a race. I definitely take a lot of extra time to very carefully align stickers, 1x1 tiles, 1x2 tiles & grilles attached by only one stud, etc. When I think it'll be especially noticeable, I may align the slots in Technic pins & axle pins, or the logos in 1x2 ingot pieces. Nowadays I also record and publish all of the builds in real time, so I take even more care to ensure that I'm presenting calm, non-frantic movements to viewers, with the assemblies in frame and in focus. I also make regular camera angle changes to ensure the videos remain visually interesting, and if something too loud occurs in the background, I'll stop & make an editing flag, and re-do a step if it's really needed. None of it is ever "hard" to me; they're just pieces of plastic, and there are instructions. I just do not prioritize speed one single iota; it's probably the least important consideration.
