As someone who doesn't play any war games, doesn't know anything about the military, someone who will never go into the military or kill anyone, this is a great build. There's a armory not to far from me and so I see these all the time, but in tan. Bravo mega, Bravo!

Out of the different Humvee configs I've operated I spent the most amount of time driving m1123 high backs (the box shaped ones with the canvas cargo rear) and this model makes me smile. The undercarriage detailing as well as the engine are really nice, and even though m1123s don't have ropes to hold the hood open (they use a single swivel bar on the driver's side to hold the hood) it's still a nice detail, and a far compromise for this scale. I had some issues with the Blackhawk they made while building (missing parts, lack of numbered bags) but the final piece is absolutely astonishing. I'm really impressed with the quality of Mega Bloks' finished models in terms of accurately portraying real-life military vehicles. I'll dip into this line in the future and see if the issues I've had before have been eradicated because there are lots of CoD vehicle sets I'd love to pick up.

Honestly, Mega Bloks has far surpassed Lego in my opinion. Their sets are way more detailed, their figures are highly articulated, and their weapon designs are waaay more detailed and realistic to its ingame universe. Additionally, Mega Bloks prices are amazing and their customer service is legendary!

Availability isn't really a big issue from where I am around. And I've only had 1 figure of my 60+ lose an arm do to play. Lastly whilst their parts may not be as amazing like legos, they have far more unique parts allowing you to do unique designs that look sleek instead of blocky permanently like Lego.

Yeah it's a nice set, I just picked it up yesterday. The last time I bought a Mega Block set was when they released the first iteration warthog. All in all I'm glad I've came back to Mega Blocks!

Great review as usual Jang, I've been waiting patiently for your reviews of the 2016 Mega Bloks COD sets to begin! I agree, the detail in this model makes it a stunning set to behold. I cannot wait for these sets to arrive in Australia, particularly this set and the Bradleys armoured vehicle. I like how this set has three great figures and some great accessories and you brush them aside in a few seconds into the review and go straight to showing off that sweet drivetrain detail. And the engine detail isn't bad either. I'd echo your words and say the only issue is the scale. Great review Is this the first set with a holographic sight accessory? I can't recall seeing it in past sets.

I have this set and several of the MB CoD sets. Honestly they are pretty much the only MB sets I will buy. My favorites are the Modern Warfare sets. The detail on the figures and their accessories is impressive.

This type of detail is also in the new warthog (Dual Mode) a piece comes off for the engine and the build is beefy. With exhaust pipes on the bottom

Dude actual Humvees are HUGE... And WIDE... military grade Hummers are NOT the ones you see driving down the street all the time... I wish they had the turret from the first Hummer on this... because it looks SO accurate up until you get to that sky mounted TOW... Hummers don't really carry TOW's anymore... A 50 cal woulda been a better mount... IMHO...

+jarrod40k I've been around the military ones. They're 7 feet wide. This model, to scale, is more like 10-11 feet wide, plus they made this almost as tall as an M-ATV. A real Hummer's roof is level with the top of my head, with the airbags at full. Compare that to 4:46.

So I got this set a couple days ago and built it, its awesome! But how did you get the rubber strings from the hood into the windshield? I couldn't wrap the strings around themselves. And, sadly, the trunk isn't big enough to fit two crates. But cool!

Yea but Lego makes Star Wars and Marvel and DC sets which sorry mega bloks, extremely demolish the market and sell way more than any mega blok theme, but honestly I like mega bloks much better because they make bigger, better, more detailed and more realistic sets (with more play value)
