'Suyuk' is Kimchi's best friend!
Today's video is about cooking the most juicy and tender Suyuk.
Suyuk is deliciously if you pick the right cut of meat, and boil it correctly.
Try it this way!
[Ingredients]
Pork belly cut 700g
Water 2L
Salt 1 Tbs
Sugar 1 Tbs (For a darker brown Suyuk, use brown sugar)
Half a cup of Soju
2 Cheongyang peppers (Spict peppers)
-----These are the basic ingredients-----
You can add green onions, onions, black peppers, fermented bean paste, coffee all according to your taste!
[For a tender Suyuk]
1. Use cuts of meat that has a bit of fat
2. If you wash the meat with water prior boiling, it tastes much better
3. Control the heat when boiling
4. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes after the meat is all boiled and cooked
