I love your method…the lining technique is so clean and professional looking.👏🏻I have been struggling making a bag for a few weeks…no joy at all and I have lost my confidence. This project is just what I need to restore my sanity and produce a cute bag, as well.♥️🇦🇺♥️

Great tutorial & especially for hiding the inside seams. I added the iron on laminate to the lining so the inside is wipeable. Just iron it so that about 1/8 to 1/16th of an inch is captured in the seam so you have less bulk when sewing. Great Christmas gifts, thanks!!

That is such a great boxy zipper pouch; and in multiple sizes, yet! I’m going to have to try all of those, and I can tell my medical supplies are going to fit that size, perfectly!

You did it AGAIN, read my mind. I just saw a tutorial yesterday for a similar box pouch but it had no speaking and was very confusing. I was growling with frustration while loving the idea. Then I opened your notice this morning and you came thru again with my wish. Bonus, every step explained exactly. Thank you Jan for my gift giving solution. 😅

Hi Jan, loved your tutorial on the box pouch. My question is - I followed your instructions but unfortunately my pouch came out smaller, not sure why. I had the same size as your set out, but it didn’t come out the same, 14.5” by 10,5” right. I look forward to hearing back from you.
@JanHowellКүн бұрын
Sorry about that. The PDF pattern is more discriptive of that process.
@01doha8 күн бұрын
Whilst I am so grateful for all your videos, and all other sewing videos, I do find it frustrating that the insertion of the zipper pull is nearly always edited. Makes it look much easier than it actually is.
