@@phillippepp3579 Pat let Janine go to prison for years without trial for Laura's(Ian's ex wife) accidental death which she was suspected of since she was the last one to see her alive and they came to blows leaving Janine's DNA on her finger nails. Ironically she was with Pat when it happened who she refused to confirm this because she wanted revenge for Janine killing her stepson Barry who hated her guts for her for cheating on his with father with Frank. Pat testified on her behalf in court only after Frank got into her knickers but it's plain to see here the extent of Janine's pent up rage.

Say what you want about Janine but she had a point. I know a lot of people would make out Janine would have said all that to be nasty and horrible and to hurt Pat but she had a point. If someone isn't sticking their neck out for you and leaves you again and again and again they don't love you enough to stick around. Frank may have come close to loving Pat a lot more than Peggy but he didn't stick his neck out for her when it really mattered and that's what hurt Pat. That she never actually got that. People need to understand Human Nature a bit here with Janine. When you have something, or someone like a Dad, you don't expect it to go away but the seccond it does you miss it. I fight like cat and dog with my Mom when she's around, but if something was to happen to her I'd be distraught. Whilst she's bossy and interfering I want her to go away and I can be angry, extremely angry at hurtful things she's said and we argue but when she goes away my love for her will come out again it's the reverse psychology here and this is what people need to understand. I get what Janine is saying. All of us who have ever argued and said things to our parents growing up but we know that they love us just as much as we love them deep down. You don't miss something you have. You miss it when it goes away. I think the moral of the story here is to appreciate what you have.

Janine and her cruelty knew no bounds. Pat was the love of Frank's life and for her to diminish it so viciously was beneath contempt. Peggy meant something to Frank as well, and Janine making fun of it was again ghastly. She got what she deserved, given her track record of sheer failures with wills. Her only success was her grandmothers will, every other one was a miserable epic fail.

Well Pat did let Janine get locked up for months without trial over Laura's accidental death(which she was suspected of because her DNA was on Laura after their fight when in fact she fell down the stairs) in vengeance for killing Barry who hated her guts for cheating on his dad with Frank and blamed him for his heart attack. Who can blame Janine for being angry? Reducing Pat & Frank's love story to a bunch of one night stands thrown together was easy since they never truly went the distance.
