JANIS IAN Days Like These

A truly sublime recording from Janis Ian from a 2000 released long player with the unusual but intriguing title 'God & The FBI'. 'Days Like These' is quintessential Janis Ian - soulful, reflective and poetic. Despite being bounced around from one record label to another; this most boutique of singer/songwriters has continued to hone her craft and kept her gift in good condition. I've been listening to some new music from her in 2022 and although her tones are not as sweet; just as sensitive and soulful as this beautiful vocalist ever was. Check out 'I'm Still Standing' (not the Elton John song) from her latest work - 'The Light At The End Of The Line'.
