Yeah, I never liked the 'neo prog' label either. I joined to play bass on this album after the music was written, and it's the best thing I was ever involved in. I think it would have done better if we carried on, but we only did 2 gigs and never got around to a follow up, so it remained a one-off project that never got the attention it should have. Great that at least a few people remember it though.
