In the Facebook Ayreon Fan Group a few years ago there was a poll who you would like to see in a next project. I suggested Brittney Slayes with the remark that not only is she an incredible voice she also would would fit in as the nice person she is. And I included a link to an amateur Karaoke video of Brittney performing Queen of the Reich. I still like to think Arjen saw that post and that started this all 😄 I promised my stepson (who I introduced to Ayreon and now is a huge fan) that we would go to the next Ayreon concert if I could get tickets. I was lucky enough to get my hands on two VIP tickets and I can honestly say,... This was the best concert I have ever attended. And Brittney slaying Floor's parts and Fate of Man was the icing on the cake. What an incedible singer she is. What a blast we had that night. Just received the blue Ray's to relive it all again. 🤘

What a performance. Was there Sunday evening, best concert of my life. Slept in the same hotel as most musicians, was lucky enough to have breakfast with Brittney, her little one and Maggie. They were the most humble, sweet and down to earth people you can imagine. I am in my 40s and a seasoned business man, but not gonna lie i was quite starstruck. Next year, if there will be something going on, i will be there the whole weekend for sure. Just a small proposal for the next album Arjen: you could do a full female storyline. Johan looks like he is on the ride of his life, yet he, Ed, and the Lull are providing the very pulse that drives this song. Truly, Masters of their art. Marcel is stunning, fluid and precise as ever... how can he maintain sync with Joost without the visual cues?... the click must sound like a blur!!
