Thank you for such an amazing piece. I'm a Malay who teaches at a Chinese dominated college and because of this I have been accused "tak ingat bangsa", "tak nak tolong kaum sendiri" and the likes. This clip soothes my heart. I don't see my students as people if different race but fellow Malaysians who someday might do good for the nation. Racism... I seriously don't get it. So thanks again for this amazing clip.

TBH, this year MERDEKA x rasa pun macam MERDEKA. The patriotism is fading off man. All the other things such as racism, corruption and hating each other are on the rise. I m really glad i was raised with a Malays and Chinese. Even though kita org maki hamun each other we knew what we were saying. I have Malay, chinese and indian friends from school to burger stalls, futsal and even at work. They're really cool man. What actually corrupting people? It is the authorities, the government! @luqosalamanca9 жыл бұрын
KEVIN CHRISTOPER yea I'm totally get you but maybe we think the govt be like "yea lets tear them apart so they can't fight us" yes i thought about that but again if we are not being stereotypes, do you think there will be any racial issues among us? like the low yat case recently, if all malay be like "yeah he's stealing why should i help him" do you think there will be any racial issues? no because its not about malay and chinese, its about customer and the seller. so in the end, its our faults

I got Malay frens , they used to say hey u babi , I smile and I replied them u juga babi la , they laughed and we had lunch together and sembang all day long . Truly Malaysians won't get offence by those words that nowadays politicians treat them as sensitive . If we really know each other and be real to each other no things can tear us apart from being united as a nation =) .Happy Merdeka guys !

Keep up on doing good videos! Good job guys. Last but not least, Selamat Hari Merdeka 🇲🇾❤️

Always listen to stories from the elderly where people live peacefully in the society. Sharing small pieces of space together without single scratch, or perhaps, nobody even bother about those scratches. They shared laughter, memories, and this beautiful land together. Just imagining the picture I feel the warmth. Malaysia would be a greater place if everyone switch focus to make this a better place. :)

I am not Malaysian but I am quite touched. At first, I really hate racists and hate comments. But when I think about it, why I dont have so much thought about how different people is only because I was born n grow up in a good family. Family who always teach me to respect people, accept different cultures, and never judging people because of their one action. Not everyone is raised in that kind of family. Some of people having trauma in society that make them hate someone and make stereotype about other people with same race. And a lot of them (one with the trauma) tell their children to be careful of those people. If you watched Inside Out movie, you can related it that this is when some "disgust" feelings appear. "This is disgust. She basically keeps Riley from being poisoned, physically and socially". This is good movie btw. So... I admit that I dont always accept other people opinions (I still dont understand why people naked on public; remember variety show Dating Naked?), but I dont make a fuss over it. But I am afraid too that someday my children watch it and think that some negative actions is ok to do. Seriously make me dizzy. Understanding people is difficult thing to do... sorry for my poor English

My sentiments exactly, " Janji kita tahu kita siapa". There's racial and racist. The latter is fueled with hate, the former is just accepting of one another's culture. Not a celebratory Merdeka this year, but I pray for the safety of our saudara-saudari seMalaysia that are participating in this weekend's rally. Hopefully we will have a better Malaysia for us all soon, and we'll be able to celebrate once again. Thank you for keeping united and thank you for being the voice of those that aren't able to march with you.

Such a great message! Like when part Ming Han say about home! I have a situation when i'm playing badminton together with chinese friends and have BM conversation with some of them and then new chinese friend(he 1st time join us on that day) was sitting beside me and ask me "you chinese or malay?" then I said that i'm Malay. Then he said "wah, you really can getting together ha, even you are Malay, you all so friendly and you know speak Mandarin ya". He surprise that i'm the only one Malay there. Then what wrong? as long we know who we are~ we are friendly and ya we have a fun playing badminton together, we joking, laughing and sharing. With badminton we can make a lot friends! We are enjoy it! We are human, we should be together. We are Malaysian at the same "roof".

Let the media, politicians, orang orang besar in our country with their willing to pecah belahkan everything and being racist every single time. Because I believe, there's still lot more of us who actually being patriotic as we should no matter what race we are, how different is our culture, as long as we know who we are :) Malaysian, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kebangsaan 💖
