The birthing scene is a completely experienced event. The name of the baby born in that scene is Erkan. The name of the captain on that flight is given him. Erkan acted as a cabin attendant on that stage and is currently a cabin attendant at THY :) The person closing the curtain 03:56 and opening the plane's door 05:03 is him.

I felt so emotional watching this video. Also at the same time when you said our generation and younger generation will not have any prejudices I felt glad. We can have our own objective opinions towards a group or country. As a Turkish citizen I was so offended when most western media stigmatized Turkey and when they showed the country as terrorist supporters due to several political reasons. It is a fact that many people know the truth though. Thank you for creating this kind and beautiful video. Love you and your videos!

i should add a little information about Turkish Airlines pilots; most of are former Turkish Airforce war pilots. After they retirement from military they work for Turkish airlines or some other companies. in addition, you're such a great man, great heart. Thanks for your opinion about Turkey, some of rest of world thinks that we are Middle Eastern country in danger but it's wrong. We are totaly Western with mix of Eastern and some other cultures, may be its the best definition for Turkey is a little United States. There are people some many different identities, religions, races, cultures, etc with great hearts and generosity. P.s. You should react Şahsiyet (Persona) tv series :)

And the japanese rescue is done by Turkish Airlines was very dangerous. During the Iran-Iraq war Saddam Husein declared that he will attack Iran after 48 hours and he will shoot down all the aircraft that flying over Iran air space no matter what plane it is. Japan government demand security guarantee in order to send a rescue flight for their own citizens so without anything guarantee they decided not to send the plane. Japanese ambassador of Iran requested help from turkish friend who is also an ambassador in Iran and that causes Turkey to send and airplane to rescue japanese people during the last 12 hours before air strike begun. And 2 hours after that plain departed the airport got hit

First stage: The first international flight of THY was to Athens :). At the second stage (1974) When Turkey intervened Cyprus, we were in lack of amphibious assult ships and carrier planes. So some of THY planes were pulled out of service, their seats were dis-assembled and waited on the tarmac engines ready to run in case they are needed. Actually there is a rumour that those planes flew to Libya, and picked up some military equipment and brought back to Turkey secretly - undercover. When the operation started Turkey was ambargoed immediately and Qaddafi offered Turkey help and said "you are probably in lack of military equipment so whatever you need, you can get from Libya" This event is told in a lot of memories of people who was involved with the operation but never officially confirmed. 3rd stage: 1985, Iran-Iraq war. Saddam blockaded the Iran air space and shot anything airborne. Most of the countries took their citizens and embassy staff out of Iran before that but Japan failed to do so. So Turkey intervened because only thing Saddam wouldnt hit at that time was a Turkish aircraft so that was the story of Japan diplomatic staff to be pulled out of Tahran safe. 4th stage is an actual event, birth on board, people allready told the details so I pass :) 5th stage is also an actual event and this is the actuala video record of it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5qYhK2ilteUeq8&ab_channel=Sezgin Again, awfully long but I want you to understand the details when you watch something about Turkey because -for instance - this ad was shooted for domastic watchers, so most of the Turks understand what each stage meant but it woudnt be that easy for you. I hope you remember the second THY add I advised you ;) and as a movie recomendation, please consider "Devrim Arabaları" (Devrim Cars) - (Devrim means revolution by the way). It is a very nice - warm and tragic story at the same time. Take care!! :)
