Having said that he is just 19 and I am pretty sure we will see improvements in those departments as well although not such as to change the general structure of his game. What instead is remarkable of Sinner is his mental strenghth during the topic points of the match and his composure when he either wins or loses. I know many will disagree with me but in the last games I've watched, Sinner was too focus on running and defense, I don't want something like a "new Murray" *(I'm not talking about the results but the style of play)* Jannik has everything to be offensive and make run his opponents. Obviously we are talking about a young guy who needs to improve a bit of everything and for sure his team will make him grow in the right way but I think is important because he has the shots and the power to dominate; this doesn't mean not defending (if Federer runs and defends, everyone must run and defends), I just want a proactive player. *Sorry, I hope you understand what I mean despite my "eng".*
@redreliever3 жыл бұрын
Matter here is he had to improve his "easy way to win tennis matches" based on power and central shots (in the past he used to play almost all winners). Therefore his team asked him to do so. Unfortunately with most of the good players this is not enough. I remember sometimes he almost lost for not shifting his "gears" in time (i.e. in Köln with Herbert). Now I see a much more proper attitude in the choice of the way to play. Sometimes some players just hit hard and he has to start running. But I assure you he knows it's not pleasant and it's better to hit first, when possible.
