The HD-9 is a great heavy duty sewing machine for a serious sewer and has many excellent features.
The Janome HD9 is the perfect flat bed, straight stitch only machine, which is great for larger projects, quilting and sewing heavy weight fabrics. This machine has a unique large bobbin which holds 40% more thread than a standard bobbin, additionally this machine also features an independent bobbin winding motor and remote thread cutter compatible socket.
The HD9 has no oil lubrication holes in the bed therefore no oil stains are risked on the fabric. With industrial pretension threading, synchronised thread tension lever, rolled hem foot included, auto thread cutter, variable speed control with high-speed sewing 800-1,600 spm available, this machine is really a perfect match for serious sewers.
Additionally, this machine has a 225mm x 140mm work area and variable stitch length up to 6mm.
