Thank you so much! Wanted to sew some piping into a bound button hole lip and had zero idea on how to attach the right foot (zipper as it turned out). Really appreciate you making this video. It was exactly what I needed. How in the world did we manage before KZbin and content creators like you?!

I am so loving watching of these videos! I happened upon one yesterday by a search...forgot I even subscribed to the Janome YT Channel. Oh my...dream come true. I own the S9 and need to learn so much more! Thanks for a great video here on zipper feet. Look forward to watching them ALL!

How do you know what millimeter machine you have? I have a Janome Memory Craft 9000 and it does not have an E foot. I have bought 3 feet all claiming to fit the 9000 series, but none do! this is so frustrating!
@amym87848 ай бұрын
The 9000 is a 7mm high shank machine.

It depends on the model of your Janome machine. If you let us know the name or model number, we can provide you with that information.

I have a Janome ME 4023 sewing machine it has a E Zipper foot ie. the two sided one you mention that is a 5/7 mm foot Will the narrow one 9mm fit my machine….I would like the narrow one…please advise thanks
@janometracy90532 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment Alice. Your ME4023 machine is a 6.5-7mm machine, you would need a foot made for your 7mm machine, not the 9mm. This part is available, number 200342003, and called the Adjustable Narrow Base Zipper Foot. It screws onto your machine, rather than a snap on foot. For pricing and to purchase, please contact your local authorized Janome dealer. Happy Sewing!

@@janometracy9053 Hi Tracey...thanks for the information.. How do I screw on this foot please.? Do I need any other attachments?? Please Thanks
@janometracy90532 жыл бұрын
@@alicemcquillan9764 You do not need any other attachments - and instructions are on the package, it's the same as attaching a walking or even feed foot.

@@janometracy9053 great.. Is there a you tube I could view .. Also. What width is a standard foot and what width is the narrow foot..please
@janometracy90532 жыл бұрын
Alice, at 3:04 minutes in the video above, you can see the narrow foot attached to the machine. We recommend contacting your local authorized dealer to check the foot sizing, and to best see how they will work with your machine.

The E foot is the most frustrating foot to attach and the booklet does not help either. I was hoping Janome would have some instruction here on how to put the #$@$#& foot on but no. We don't need sewing instruction! We need to know HOW TO PUT THE FOOT ON!

I dont mean to be unkind but it would have been helpful to see 👀see the feet up close.. couldnt see from that distance.. and Im a beginner. So this video wasnt helpful to me at all because I couldnt see up close what they look like
