Let me just say I haven't used my overlocker for over a year now because I had no idea how to thread the machine! After watching you instructions I got my machine back up and running! Thank you so much for your easy to follow instructions because it made it clear on the correct way to thread the serger! I've watched other clips and either their hand was in the way or a lot of talk about not what I wanted to hear! Big ups to you and keep up the great work because it sure did help me!!!

I only picked you cause of the cat as I have trouble with my cats when i TRY to thread. However you should two things I never knew....You make it look so easy I would rather do 5 hours hard labour then three the green thread....you do it with white cotton and double it up hahaha I never thought of that. Molly is gorgeous xx thanks heaps xx

Thank you so much for this video. While my machine is in the shop getting surgery, my friend lent me hers and I had no idea how to thread the lower looper on the tricky part of it 😆 I had no idea the arm could swing open 😅

Thanks so much for this video! My overlocker became unthreaded about 7 years ago. I wasted a load of time trying to follow the instructions in the manual and then gave up. I followed your tutorial last night and now it's working perfectly! 😁

I just acquired a my lock 334d. Got it serviced and oiled. With the sample the service people did, it worked well but when I tried it with a knit fabric, the threading broke. I guess I have to rethread it again?

Yes, that's right. Thread the loopers first and the needles last. Thanks.

Why do you not start With the green?

There's no reason why you couldn't thread the green first. Thanks.

Haven't used my 434d for over 5 years and your tutorial was reassuring but my balance wheel won't budge, have you a idea that might help. Also Molly is adorable.

It sounds like it may be seized. You'll need to get oil into it for a start or take it to be serviced. Thanks.

Carole Bourke I hadn’t used my machine for over 10 yrs. or so and you need to put kerosene on the oil points; let sit for 30 minutes and then oil the machine! Look it up on KZbin for exact instructions but it worked like a charm. My machine never seized up though but I am very anal about cleaning and oiling it before I stored it :). Good luck

That awkward spot is so hard to see and maneuver. I will try using a needle to poke through that last eye which is a disaster trying to catch. Took me hours of fussing.
