What a great painting, I really enjoyed watching you paint this from start to finish. It is a beautiful scene I wish you had shown how you paint the cows. Well may be next time! Thank you for showing us.

Hi Ursula! The cows are in the background therefore they do not get a lot of detail. For video lessons about cows in detail, just type "cows" in our channel's search bar. I found this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpm7fqhuaL97mcU Hope it helps answer some of your questions. 😊

I so much appreciate the longer videos. Many channels show beginner techniques and tips, but there are very few that allow an intermediate painter like myself progress by learning in depth processes. I have done your rose challenge and your bird challenge, but I learn most from the westerns. Where else do we get landscape, water, animals and figures? Please keep the full length videos coming. There are lots of potential artists like me!

I enjoyed this entire western painting. I watched them all the way thru. Does it affect your channel if I watch half then come back to it a day later? Sometimes it takes a day but I get all the way thru

After researching I bought propylene glycol as retarder...it smells odd...bit like turpentine!! Is propylene glycol harmful to breathe? Then I bought liquitex slow dri gel...no smell and retards at least 20 minutes. But propylene glycol almost 40 minutes. Please comment on both🙏

Propylene glycol is used in many food preparations. If is non toxic. It is also used in most hand creams and skin products, eye products. The fog that is created in theater productions is propylene glycol. It is sprayed on aircraft as a deicing formula. It is everywhere. Of course you can always have allergic reactions to any chemical, skin sensitivity. Our FDA has approved propylene glycol as a direct food additive. You can however as with any product have allergic reactions. Here is a link for lots more information. The bottom line is it is classified as safe but too much ingestion should be avoided, just like salt. wwwn.cdc.gov/TSP/PHS/PHS.aspx?phsid=1120&toxid=240#:~:text=It%20is%20used%20to%20absorb,training%20and%20in%20theatrical%20productions.
