I always appreciate the shout out on your channel! The map?! STUNNING! I've loved watching your reading journal journey and figuring out what works for yooooou 🥰🥰

Thank-you for being a constant source of reading journal inspiration for all of us, Monica 👏 You're a gem 😊💜

I think a flip out for the TBRathon reads with just the prompt number next to the written titles of the books would work
@JashiiCorrinКүн бұрын
Ooo that's a good idea 🤔 Means I don't necessarily have to have them in order too

When I did reading challenges or goals in my bujo to get me reading, I created a reading calendar in Google calendar. I had different colors for each title so it was easy to see where titles changed and if a book was dragging on. I could use the description section to track pages read per date, notes, etc. It included releases from authors I really enjoyed as well.

I'm waiting for Monica's reading journal flip thought, the previous gave me a lot of ideas. I love your map in the inside cover, it's gorgeous. For the missing information about the Books of paradise challenge, you can add a tip in in line with the prompts.
@JashiiCorrin23 сағат бұрын
I was thinking that’d work well, yeah 🤔

A tip-in with the prompt letter and book cover would work to track your TBRathon reads.

Monica's journals are like perfection. I'm so ready to start my reading journal this coming year! ❤❤❤❤

The PET version of the blue flowers looks stunning! The map is gorgeous! For the TBRathon I'd maybe do a flip-out? Next to the prompts. There seems to be just enough space. And depending on the amount of books you read it could be either list of books or maybe you could have book covers there. The January setup looks great. Hope you'll have lots of fun with it :D

I love your work. The flowers behind the books is stunning. Thanks to you I started using Washi labels in my journal. So much fun. And, so much more appealing than my own handwriting. I need to practice drawing maps. You make it look so easy. Thank you.

Thanks! 💜 the washi labels are a great trick for headers that are nice to look at and easy to do 😝

Something I did for Leandra's October challenge was to include a graphical element in the individual books to show what prompt they were read for. So in this case, if you read a book that lined up with the prompt for the moon, when you record whatever you are writing for the the book you could doodle a moon as part of that writeup.

For recording your books for the tbrathon, I would do a tip in with a list or a symbol on your books read list that indicates you read them for the prompt. For ex: Onyx Storm (A). If you want to do a full spread with covers, that would be pretty too!

Ooooh Stray is a fun game!! I admit I make little kitty meow a lot cause it's toooo cute! Life is Strange was interesting too, I didn't "collect" all the things, since I think you have to play through multiple times to get everything. And I finally watched Crazy Rich Asians this year, I enjoyed watching it! I'm hoping we read Nettle and Bone in BBBC, it's been on my TBR for a while. Also Yay for another Monica reading journal flip through!!!
@JashiiCorrin21 сағат бұрын
I'm hoping that Life is Strange Double Exposure has the same chapter replay feature as the previous ones for collectables 🤔 That was handy for nabbing the things 😛 Glad you can vouch for Stray!

Haha yeah it's for my Orilium challenge 😛 Needed a title with all the letters of my name...so went easy-mode and just picked a book that HAD my name 😝
@doomsdemon11 сағат бұрын
when you were doing the books of paradise and you question how you show that you'd read them, you can use the dot markers to put over the letters on the map and the list to show you have read them. that's just an idea don't know if it'll fit what you want to do though.

I looove your map ❤ do you have a video of how you make them/decide on how to draw things? I want to try it to make my world map for my story❤
@JashiiCorrin21 сағат бұрын
I don't have a video on it at this stage, but possibly at some point! Long-story-short is that I just start with a general outline of the island(s), sketch out where I want specific places, add in areas for particular land forms, and then sketch them in 😊

Can your mini calendar tracker be used to track your reading through out the year by coloring in the days you’ve read? Also, great video! I can’t draw at all but I love your map
