I did a Harry Potter theme in Oct 2019, F.R.I.E.N.D.S in Jan 2020, The Office in Sept 2020, Divergent in Oct 2020, and Winnie the Pooh in Apr 2021! (some of these are tv shows I'm aware haha) My sister did all Disney movie themes in her bullet journal last year, and I've found that movie/tv show-based bullet journal themes definitely feel like they take longer than more "typical" bullet journal themes because you always have so many things from the movie/show you don't want to leave out! Another amazing setup Jess 😍

I love how this turned out! I've done a Narnia theme in the past and I'm really tempted to do movie themes this year, especially in April with Empire Records and Rex Manning Day. But we shall see!

The Matrix theme is so, so good! Especially with the hiragana, it's very inspired. I set up my 2021 beginning-of-year spreads with a Fire Emblem theme. Skyrim is probably going to be my 2022. Games always inspired me more than movies.

The Matrix movies was a especial interest of mine when I was in high school (thanks to a philosophy teacher). Seeing things like this makes me go into the nostalgia train. I love it! Simple in terms of spreads, but the designs are beautifully done. I have yet to do a movie inspired theme, but I would like to do one inspired in Studio Ghibli movies in the future.

Will Vaughn kill me if I say I haven't watched the full movie? 👀 I swear it's not because I'm avoiding it, and I am a 90s kid...I just never got around to it. That said, I love this set up! I had thought it looked like Japanese but wasn't sure in your sneak peak. The minimal colour combos are very effective 👌

Thanks for the few new video you posted recently. 😁❤ I'm from Switzerland and after knowing what the meaning of your partners nickname was, it always confused me when I heard you say it out loud because the pronunciation would be more like = "Fogel" with an F and not a W. But I understand that since his real name is with a V you would pronounce it like that. 😄

Omg wait now I kind of want to do a matrix theme for January... I'm really glad I haven't set up January spreads yet lol. I've done a studio ghibli inspired theme before that took inspiration from Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and Castle in the Sky which turned out so good and I'm still obsessed with it even though I made it like two years ago at least.

Oh I love this! Matrix came out the summer I met my husband and I called him Neo (instead of his actual name Neil) for yeeesars. Plus I was skinny and had a Trinity hair cut 😂. As for the QOTD - the movie I’ve done is The Land Before Time 😂 🦕

Well I didn't want to say.........that he was named after a loaf of bread, but that was my point of reference being an NZer too! lol Actually Vaughan is a family name in our house, passed down from each first born male in my husbands family. It's been a middle name for a few generations now but here's a nerdy 'ooh that's cool' gasp moment. There's a seal.........it's a ring.....you can wear it and make a wax seal with the family crest on it! :o You're welcome!

Don’t know if someone already commented on this but you actually pronounce the v in Vogel like an F. The Bujo is very pretty but I just cringed everytime you pronounced the word. Maybe it’s a german thing.

Well his name is Vogel with a V sound cause it’s from Vaughan 😂 can’t say my German pronunciation is very good, haha

@@JashiiCorrin Vogel is a Dutch word too (also means bird) and is pronounced with a v. (The g is a bit different tho, but that's a minor detail.) So if someone asks you can always just tell them it's Dutch or something and dodge any critique/comments/questions.
