Yes liquid deicier would work on asphalt. Most additives are able to prevent refreeze which is very hard on asphalt and concrete.

I dont see any advantage in spraying or not spraying since you did such good job at plowing.

Mike, even if the surface looks close to bare it can still be slippery with a little ice or snow pack. Our zero tolerance accounts want it down to bare pavement as fast as possible.

Out of all the things that happened in this video that's what you choose to make a derogatory comment about? At least Michael's comment below is something that's debatable. But I don't think we have ever ran into someone who claims a 6" snowfall isn't snow. That's a new one.
