£1000 in a car maintenance fund to me seems like a really good idea. I just had my cambelt and other bits changed this week, and it cost £620. It’s a bigger job that cars need eventually but don’t worry about how stuff works now, we all learned how it works as we went. Finding a good mechanic that’s kind and trustworthy is usually found through asking friends and relatives who they recommend, I’m not a car person so I need someone to spell it all out for me 😅 really glad the lessons are going good Selina! Will be ready to take a test soon! Also, £50 in each envelope seems so much easier.
