IN THE MOOD FOR ALGARVE: PART 2 | Algarve Road Trip & Food Trip | Best Travel in Portugal 2020

Get ready for a ROAD TRIP and FOOD TRIP along the coast of Algarve, Portugal! 🇵🇹 This time, we spent the rest of our stay in the southern Portuguese region exploring the Western Algarve (Sagres, Lagos, Portimão) and the Eastern Algarve (Tavira, Santa Luzia, Vilamoura and Albufeira). Along the way, we made food stops and hit restaurant tables to experience the diverse Algarvian cuisine, as well as featured excellent brunch places and gelateria. 💛
This is the longest IN THE MOOD episode I've ever created! Originally, it was intended to be Part 2 and Part 3, but for someone who value storytelling, I prefer to make videos that feel complete. Putting this together was satisfying, it made me feel as though I was editing a memory, and creating a full montage of our trip in the Algarve.
I am also super thrilled to be joined by my very dear friend Therese (@exploring.therapy), hosting this episode with me and sharing her passion and insights as a true foodie. I wouldn't have made this episode without her. Thanks to Abi (@abi.owens) for being part of this, too! Loved all those times when we were on the road, whether it's sight-seeing or shopping for ceramics, laughing at all the silly things, eating all the best food in the Algarve, sharing the best conversations and creating the best memories. 💛

Wonderful and so informative. As a person who is deathly allergic to nuts, do you think I’ll have any problems asking staff to accommodate and will I be able to avoid them? I will be visiting shortly and would appreciate any advice!

It's a pity you only visited the western (more touristy) part of the Algarve. Go to the eastern part the next time. You'll like it; especially Tavira.

Thanks, man. Appreciate it! I would choose Carvoeiro, as it's also close to a few nice places to explore. I'd stay there for a year. I've seen a little bit of Galé, and it seems so wonderful there, too. I still haven't seen a lot of Lagos and Faro, so will reconsider when I get to visit again.
