@stummkind5 жыл бұрын
why though?
@VALAREZ5 жыл бұрын
@@stummkind I guess cause they've all likely been laying at a high level since they were kids. I've seen many a western world adult band with less discipline and worse sound quality than this. I figured, maybe some of the highscool kids just picked up an instrument when they got to the school cause the bad was popular..................unlikely, the choreography is probably a bigger challenge for them than the music by the time they get there.

Music is part of their academic curriculum, you have to pass it to pass. From pre school to high school. Every Japanese know how to read notes even the blind!!

There are few elementary schools which have music band like this. So, most of students who want to play the instruments start when they are junior high school students or high school students.

If you start by teaching a child the principles of discipline, dedication, and determination, they start life with the three main tools that will benefit them throughout their lives. The wonderful people of Japan have known and proven this throughout their glorious history and this video is a sample of it on display. A "Great Job" by these wonderful children. God bless the children and God bless the nation of Japan. And just for the record, I am an American who speaks and respects "truth."

It is obvious that this happens because of many factors coming together. Excellent instructors, supportive parents, a school system that supports and encourages it's students , the cultural dedication these young people have in their lives-not just for the music but for learning in general. There's a lesson to be learned here America- it's not just sports that nedd to be supported in our schools. Show this video to our youn students as an example of what can be accomplished if all the factors are put in place. Bravo to this fine band.

Yes, actually. Grades 4, 5 and 6. There are many such bands in Japan, and younger schools (primary, kindergarten) will have small instrument bands such as percussion, melodicas, recorders, etc., whatever configuration motivated teachers and students wish to create. It is all voluntary and non-curricular.

In the U.S. funding has been drastically cut to the arts. They are considered unimportant. So, music and art appreciation as well as music and art classes have been dropped from the curriculum. When music was required there was a lot better music available to the public and especially to young people. This is amazing for grade and middle school students.
