A special tour of the limited edition Felyne cafe they set up (from mid july to end of Sept 2015) in Shibuya to celebrate the upcoming launch of Monster Hunter Diaries: Poka Poka Felyne Village DX (www.capcom.co.j...)
No word on launch in the west. Great time, hope you forgive shaky cam and like seeing not only the cafe but Tokyo and context as so where it was located.
Happy Hunting!

I was born in the wrong part of the world XD It's so annoying because Japan is so far away so trips to it would be pretty much impossible for me, but literally everything about it is so perfect XD I couldn't imagine a place like this in the West. I love Monster Hunter and I feel so under represented where I live. No one I know even knows about it and I'll literally get maybe 1(if not less) streetpass an hour when I drive around :( I hope I get to go someday.

I missed this when you originally posted it, but wanted to tell you that I love these little glimpses at Japan. I doubt if I will ever be able to travel (already 40 with a family), but I desperately wish I had gone to Japan. I applied to two different programs in college, but my Japanese didn't make the cut. Thanks so much for sharing your Tokyo experiences!

this video really reminded me of how different the atmosphere in this game is versus a game like call of duty (not that i am in that community anyway) i think that because the entire community of MH is waay smaller than most games we all join together and you can almost never see any negativity at all. :)

Jack Jellybean yeah i don't think you'll find any place in america where a big or small business or even a group of people even hand out water on a hot day. when i went to vegas it was well past 100 degrees and everyone just has the idea to put a bunch of water in a cooler and sell it instead of just being kind people and handing it out to people that look like they seriously need it.

Crimson Sahasolarn i would say that's probably 80% true. i hear a lot of the older traditional folk still have a thing against foreigners but for the most part in tokyo, they get a LOT of tourists every year and most of them don't know even the slightest japanese so there are some accommodations for that if you can spot them when you get there.

Hey Gaijin Hunter, I know this is a bit unrelated but I have a question relating to the lance: When I fully charge up the counter move, it seems like it has a sharpness multiplier, but I am not entirely sure of it. Your guides did not mention any modifier so I wanted to ask you, does the fully charged lance counter get anything other than the powerful 50% motion value?
