Hey folks, figs are also the easiest thing to cut and root. So easy to do. We took one fig tree and now have 30 and they’re all beautiful. Just cut a young limb and keep it in a moist soil in a pot. It takes ab 3 months for it to really develop strong roots, but really no work other than taking cuttings and placing in soil

It's my first time to see a fig tree and ate a fig fruit when our kind and generous neighbor in Japan told us to drop by in their home farm from the grocery store. They gave us big tomatoes and other vegetables. I picked one ripe fig fruit cause I was just curious and asked her "What is this fruit? (In Japanese), she told me you can pick two that's a Fig fruit. I was surprised and when I tasted it, it was good.. I picked 3 and I gave some to my fellows. 🇯🇵🥰

I absolutely love eating figs. It is one of my very favorite fruit but sadly 😢 I never eat it because it is so expensive. Very rarely do the local supermarkets sell it but when they do a single, small fig will cost about $2 - $3 USD each. Unless you own a fig tree, chances are people don’t want to pay that much for one little fig. On the other hand, papayas are cheap about 69 cents a pound. They are imported from Mexico.
