As a Japanese living in Tokyo, let me say that it is great that you are working with respect, but the way you ride your bicycle will surely cause a fender-bender in the near future. You need to slow down on narrow streets, and you are riding without pausing where you should stop.

Agree, also great to see all the efforts you are putting in making a living in Japan, good luck man! Regarding slowing done in the narrow street, I agree 100%. When I'm in Japan, I am always afraid of the mama-chari passing fast close to me, so I guess people would feel the same if you pass fast too close to them. But I know it's hard in Tokyo. Good luck man!

Now, in Japan, cyclists have been driving badly recently. Not only Japanese but also foreigners ride their bikes like a horse chasing a carrot dangling in front of them, looking only ahead and not looking in the direction of their surroundings. They lack the awareness to hold the brake lever to properly control deceleration. They simply turn the brake on and off like a switch to stop. They rush into pedestrians and cyclists without a second thought. I think this is related to the increase in serious collisions that lead to serious injuries and fatalities, and contact and falls when passing each other

Your video depicts the cleanliness of Tokyo better than any Japanese V-log. It's unbelievable that even though it's the largest city in the world, every corner of the alleyways is spotless.

Bleib stabil!

There are pros and cons. Japan has a very rigid and conservative social hierarchy. The work lifestyle in many Japanese companies isn't healthy. Mental health is not taken seriously. People suffer in silence. The Japanese economy has been stagnating for 3 decades and wages have barely increased.
