I live in Philadelphia (PA, US) which has super common rampant bed bug infestations 😣 I’ve had them one time, basically I had to move out and throw away everything I ever owned, all my clothes and everything. I swear this is one of my absolute favorite videos on KZbin. Not only is the whole concept and the individual hotels interesting, but the running commentary between Connor and Chris never fails to make me laugh. My elderly dad really wanted to see Japan, and so he booked us a trip there. It was quite awkward when we got to Nara, where he had accidentally booked a love hotel. It was a good hotel and it was fun seeing all the oddities they had put in there, including a tv in the bathtub and a gigantic projector next to the bed. The real awkward part was getting into a taxi with dad and seeing the drivers face when we said we were going to "hotel Love Garden"

i know it's cheap and questionable, but going to a love hotel is on my list of things to do when i finally make it to japan on vacation. I think it would make for a very silly date/night out that's quintessentially japanese, and couldn't be experienced in quite the same way anywhere else. Very 1970s american love hotel/honeymoon vibes but maybe a tiny bit more renovated and streamlined.
