Where the people were laying on the stairs looking at the projection, I kept trying to wipe a dirty mark off my screen. It was the ceiling light in the video 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 The new ferry is beautiful, it reminds me of a cruise ship. Darn it! i chose rock

Been binge watching.. and gotta laugh at some of the silliness of the ferries. For the jacket incident... think of this instead of being awkward... Say to yourself that you both have great tastes in jackets and he's trying to mimic you. lol!! RESTRANT... new name for an eatery.. lmfao!! This Canadian momma polar bear will melt her igloo with all the laughter and jiggling of the ole blubber. Thank you for a wonderful review and views from this new ferry. God bless you and stay safe!!!

About the chimney, maybe they just used one or part of it to vent exhaust, as it typically burns far cleaner than most other fuels. That said, even the Titanic had a stack solely for ventilating lower decks/engine intake so having one soley for other utilities or looks wouldn't unheard of.

21:04 I see 4 LNG refueling trucks greeting the "Sunflower Kurenai" in the port of Beppu... That is a certain safety concern, and it will be until they build some LNG bunker tankers or barges.

Hi. Firstly, wish to say I enjoyed your video. And it makes me wanting to plan a trip to Japan for this ride. Wish to have your views on which will be the recommended ferry line to take. I will be in Osaka and Kyushu island in November. I want to do a trip from Osaka to any port in Kyushu and a return trip to Kyushu with a different ferry. Which would you recommend to take? Your views are much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What you call a ferry in Japan, this would be a luxury cruise liner in the USA. Pyr ferries here usually go sorry short distances and aren't vessels you stay overnight on.

Then you should check out the ferries between Sweden and Finland, they are about as close you get to true cruise ships while still taking cars and trucks with them. Particularly Silja Symphony and Silja Serenade which inspired a lot of the current cruise ships with the walking street in the middle of the ship. :)

It's real exhaust.the reason there is no smoke cause it's fueled by LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) this fuel also 40% less carbon than oil fuel and not same as regular ship fuel.also this ship is the first japanese ferry using LNG fuel
