Nice video. Your Mom is a pretty good camera person. I'm glad, you are showing your Mom the real Japan, not just Tokyo or Harajuku.

About ten years ago I was assigned to Kansai and lived for about seven years. I really miss Nara. The east facing street near Kintetsu Nara is good for taste. There are also cases where you may encounter deer coming down in search of food from Mt. Wakasa at night. I am very happy to see the cherry blossoms of Yoshinoyama since I did not go to see it. I felt that I was very happy that beautiful Western women were able to understand Japan's wonderfulness and enjoy it. Marianna! Thank you! ! !

Very well made video. Cherry blossom in May, wow. I don’t think I’ve been to Yoshino but definitely on my list now. Living outside of Japan for a long time, I now rely on KZbinrs like you to rediscover and keep up with ever changing my motherland. Thanks for your great work!

Such a sweet comment ! I was almost killed by deer there at shika kouen, park ! I was feeding deer shika senbei & wasn't aware of the one behind me getting mad & jealous !! Lol. She/ he tried to jump on me & kick me ,I believe !! 😅 Nara is my ( one of my uncles ) uncle's favourite place to visit ! 💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💕💞

I remember going up Table mountain in Capetown on a cable car. And it swayed in the high wind. And fortunately nothing went "twang" :)

After seeing this video, Yoshino during sakura time has climb pretty high up on my Japan must see list! I can't even imagine how picturesque it is in real life. But that concern face on the gondola though lol

Historically, rulers needed to be authorized by Emperors in Japan, so Emperors had been often involved in power struggles by powerful persons. Between 1336-1392, two Emperors existed in Japan, called "nanboku-cho (南北朝) era". (era of both the south Emperor and the north Emperor) and Yoshino is the place for the south Emperor (後醍醐天皇). That's why there are some magnificent temples in such a local place.

Hi😊 Interesting about the site of the founding of shugendo. I went to a shugendo fire ritual in Yamaguchi last november and got to walk over the embers of their ritual fire (along with many other members of the public). Yoshino looks like a great place. Also great to discover your channel and I'm surprised I haven't come across it before!😀
