Thank you so much for this video! I'm in the south central US where we have no ferries & no trains, so these videos are so fascinating & relaxing to me.

Amazing to see the difference between Japan and Dutch/English ferries, which I took a lot. You never get me in a sleeping place like you had. Luckily we don't have that. Even the vending machines you can't find here, but different restaurants. From Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza to first class restaurants. But nevertheless, I wanted to have a chance to visit your ferries.

Thanks for the wonderful video! I am thinking of travelling from Fukuoka to Osaka by this route! Can I prebook the tickets online? If so, which website should I go to? Do the vending machines and shops on board accept credit card payment?
@shibatravel2 жыл бұрын
Reservations can be made through the ferry company's official website. Credit cards are often not accepted on ferries.

Lol I love spy sauce both as slightly salty in stir fry and the sweeter one esp on salad etc .. I'm not a tofu person but soft boiled eggs omg could eat those all day (also partial to devilled eggs .. boiled curried eggs to anyone else not familiar with the term)

You are the first 'solo' I've seen who shows the inside of the smoking rooms. I'm curious why there is nowhere for smokers to sit down inside the smoking room? Why must smokers stand? Thanks for another great video!
@shibatravel2 жыл бұрын
It may have something to do with the Japanese work style. In Japan, if you smoke at work, you need to take a few minutes. So many people think that cigarettes only take a few minutes, and smokers don't have to sit down.

Ah, that's more like it back to the proper full size and fully open capsules unlike the closed in ones in your other vid with the steps right next to your head for the bunks above, helluva claustrophobic too that one. These ones are much better good lad. Couple pointers for you, Remember to explain to your new followers that for the running commentary (subtitles) on STS, folk need to self service it themselves and click on the top right of video screen then click on the icon that looks like a wee flower then choose what language they want to read your words in in the captions box e.g. English, Spanish, Croatian, French, Japanese, Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, German etc because this one isn't automatic like STJ which comes up with English subs automatically. I've introduced friends to your vids and they didn't know you did descriptive commentary nor how to access it so missed out on your humourous descriptions and didn't know words were there so thought it just a non descriptive film. Totally brill you now have a range of languages available on this one btw where's the Scottish dialect lol Ah dare ye lol only joking most folk in the world cannae unerstaun us especially the English lol and also having the prices in the different foreign currencies too well done you. See, you're a Pro now, you should have your own prime time TV show. Another thing to inform new people about is if they want to make the vid fullscreen size without the video's details, your profile picture, number of views, followers etc underneath and the next videos, available and want to big up the film itself they won't get the running commentary words at the bottom! Problem is when you click the enlarge icon box the filmscreen is too big and the words disappear so folk should keep it unzoomed form which is a bummer if you're on a ferry watching it on your wee phone screen 😂 so to get the whole full experience with your words tell Newbies to your channel because they don't know this. Don't worry It's no just your STS. I watch Japanese and Thai dramas on here and many of them are the same if you want full screen video you don't get the subtitles and my Japanese and Thai are zilcho and there's nowhere on the video description that tells you how you do all this and many of the series and films are fabby, damn sight better than our soaps lol. Oh aye n btw STJ is a good boy he doesn't do the booze cruise STS naughty boy 9%? blimeyoh laddie 😜

Lainey McDougall san! Your comments are very informative and I am very impressed and happy. I was worried because I knew what percentage of people in my video didn't see the subtitles. I am aware that I am a clone, but I will gradually add my own personality. But I think it's important little by little. In the next video, I'll try to test it with your opinion. Thank you for your opinion. Thank you!

Solo you’re doing super so don’t change a thing with your filming everything is perfect very detailed and informative with quirky sense of humour n so professional. The vids from even a couple years ago til now you’re more comfortable and relaxed filming you’re own settled way now. As for you caring about others privacy caps off to you because other travel vids that’s not you lol don’t edit enough and blur out folk or mute their conversations. As for you and you and you lol the telltale signs were your passion for sunrise/set, sense of cheeky humour, munchies (food) you always get the same favourites whether ferry, train, hotel or restaurants and got same hands and just every now and again you’re reflection caught in mirror or window oh aye n the iconic you still cany make a bed yet lol. Old army trick if you want perfect bed no creases bounce a coin off it if it bounces it’s perfect n the Sergeant Major won’t make you peel the tatties (fatigues) 😂 Anyway don’t ever change Solo just if you figure out how to let new folk know how to work the video to get the full experience with subs but like I told you it’s no you it’s whatever way they’re uploading. eg I watched Me Always You with zoomed in screen and still got the subs but last one Why R U if you zoomed you got no subs so it seems if the words are along the very bottom of picture when zoomed in, so many millimetres disappear? And that’s the official channel like GMMTV uploading it’s no wee Mr Smith doing it himself so it’s nowt to do with copyright. I’m no techy you are so maybe this info might help someone.
