(Japan Travel Update Before Tokyo Olympic) Shibuya, Asakusa, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Ueno Ameyoko

Tokyo Olympic is almost there. Sharing Tokyo situation on weekend and answering travel questions such as "Japan vaccination situation", "When Japan open" and etc.. I have visited Asakusa Nakamise Street, Ueno Ameyoko Street, Akihabara Electric Town, Shinjuku Kabukicho Godzilla Street, Shibuya Crossing, and Miyashita Park by JR Tokyo line and Tokyo Metro. Still State of emergency is not lifted yet in Tokyo but the atmosphere of town is already becoming like before. Hope I can share the Real Tokyo situation Visually though this video.

From what i read, Japan set up vaccine centers in Japan this month, to increase the vaccination rate. Hopefully this will allow Japan's border to open soon. Still no date, not even speculations *I'm sure you'd know better than I would. I'm in Beijing*

Seeing this video made me miss Japan so much! The pandemic really ruined everyone’s plans, life and freedom, too 😅 That’s why I really wish that this will end very soon! But I have to agree with your opinion about wearing mask. I also do believe that even after the situation gets better, people will still wear a mask not only because they already get used to it but the feeling of fear is still there. Even the sanitizing everything will be part of our “new normal”. As always, thank you so much for giving us an update regarding Tokyo’s current situation. I like diversity too. I always try to be friends with people from different places. I befriended somebody from Mexico my Senior year of high school. She invited me and my friend to visit her home town and (Mexico city) in Mexico during the summer of my Senior year. My dad paid for the trip as a graduation gift. It was so much fun. I made a scrap book (but the pictures are faded because it was non-digital cameras back then, but I wrote about my experience. We went to a Catholic church in her home town, and the priest starred at my friend because she had blonde hair. I have dark hair so I fit in, and I'm 5'1. I like your videos and other videos from Japanese people, I really like your culture.

Really remind me when I traveled to Japan in October 2019. I went to places Rion mentioned in the video. Akihabara, Shinjuku, Odaiba. We stay at Asakusa . One night, we walked out from one station to our accommodation. It was quite far but the view really beautiful especially the sky. The weather at that time also perfect. I think it was middle of summer season. Love to traveled to other cities like osaka, kyoto
